Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all course bookings, training services and related purchases made with Dermaluxe International Beauty Training Academy, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By booking or attending a course, you agree to the following terms.
1. Booking and Payment
Course bookings are confirmed only after the required payment or deposit has been received. Where a payment plan is offered, the full balance must be paid at least 14 days before the course start date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Deposits are non-refundable once the training place has been reserved and course materials have been issued.
2. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Course fees are non-refundable once the booking has been confirmed and training materials have been provided.
Requests to change a course date must be submitted in writing at least 7 days before training. Approved changes may be subject to an administration fee.
Where permitted, the academy may offer a course credit, transfer to another date or transfer to another eligible student.
3. Non-Attendance
Students who do not attend, cancel on the training day or arrive too late to participate may lose the full course fee.
Any approved rebooking may be subject to an additional administration or rescheduling charge.
4. Course Changes by the Academy
Dermaluxe International Beauty Training Academy may cancel, reschedule or make reasonable changes to course dates, trainers, venues, timings, class structures or course content.
Where the academy cancels a course, students will normally be offered an alternative date or course credit. The academy is not responsible for travel, accommodation, visa, childcare, loss of income or other related costs.
5. Models and Patch Testing
Students must provide suitable models where stated in the course requirements.
Models must complete all necessary consultation forms, disclose relevant medical conditions and complete any required patch test within the advised timeframe, usually 24 to 48 hours before treatment.
The academy may refuse treatment where safety requirements have not been met.
6. Entry Requirements and Certification
Students are responsible for checking and meeting all course prerequisites before booking.
Completion of a course does not automatically guarantee employment, licensing, insurance eligibility or permission to perform a treatment. Students must confirm the requirements that apply in the UAE or any other country where they intend to work.
Certificates may be issued after full attendance, payment and completion of all required assessments or case studies.
7. Health, Safety and Medical Conditions
Students must disclose any medical condition, allergy, pregnancy, medication, injury or disability that may affect their participation.
All students must follow the trainer’s instructions relating to hygiene, infection control, consultation, contraindications, equipment use, treatment safety and aftercare.
The academy may prevent participation where there is a health or safety concern.
8. Attendance and Conduct
Students should arrive at least 10 minutes before the course start time.
Professional behaviour is required at all times. Aggressive, abusive, disruptive, unsafe or inappropriate conduct may result in removal from the course without a refund.
Students must respect the privacy of trainers, models, staff and other students.
9. Training Materials and Intellectual Property
All manuals, videos, presentations, assessments, photographs and training resources remain the intellectual property of Dermaluxe International Beauty Training Academy.
Materials must not be copied, shared, resold, uploaded, reproduced or used for teaching without prior written permission.
10. Liability and Contact
Dermaluxe International Beauty Training Academy is not responsible for losses resulting from misuse of techniques, failure to follow training instructions, inadequate licensing or insurance, rejection of certification by a third party, or treatments performed after completing a course.
